The Eisenhower Dollar began minting in 1971. Designed by Frank Gasparro, the obverse features the portrait of war hero and two-term president, Dwight David Eisenhower. The reverse was also designed by Gasparro and features a heraldic eagle over the surface of the moon, celebrating the Apollo 11 mission.
Collection sold with thirty-two coins. Condition is Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof. Mounted in its own display album.
