Peace, Morgan and American Eagle Silver Dollar Album Collection
These three coins have been recognized as the most beautiful coins the U.S. Mint ever produced. The first in production was designed by George T. Morgan. The Morgan Silver Dollar, as it is commonly known, was first minted in 1878. The next dollar to be struck is the Peace Silver Dollar, the only U.S. coin dedicated to the ideal of peace. The third dollar that is still in production today is the popular American Eagle Silver Dollar. It was first minted in 1986 and takes the same design as the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, which was first minted in 1916. The American Eagle dollar is the largest coin that the U.S. Mint produces.
