From 1934-1937 the coin was minted from the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. In 1938 the coin was first minted from the Philadelphia Mint and then from 1939-1947 the coin was minted from the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is considered by many to be the most attractive Half Dollar ever minted.
Sold in this collection are 38 coins minted from 1934 to 1937 from the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints. Also along with this collection comes a 1938 specimen from the Philadelphia Mint, followed by a complete date and mint grouping from 1939 through the last year of issue in 1947. The collection is displayed in a royal plush velvet tray enclosed in a solid wood walnut finished chest with a plexiglas cover. The chest dimensions are 12" x 15". All coins come in Very Good to Extremely Fine condition.
