The Carson City Mint was in operation for only 24 years (from 1870 to 1893), producing some of the lower mintage 90% Silver Morgan Dollars. These low mintage dollars are now much sought-after by collectors, especially in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

Low Mintage years of 1882, 1883 and 1884 are the same dollars that were held in storage by the U.S. Government. The last of which were released in the late 1970s.
