Starting off the new America the Beautiful Quarters Program is Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas, the first of 50 national parks quarters to be featured on the reverse of the 25 cent piece. Each quarter will feature highlights of that state’s national park and will be minted by the U.S. Mint at five per year, with the program ending in 2021.
Coming Soon! Grand Canyon National Park quarters will be available September 9, 2010 and Mount Hood National Park quarters will be available November 15, 2010.
